The concept behind professional development is the idea that you have untapped potential, and to not settle with what you have if you want more out of life. Professional development is a process of continually progressing and refining your character and qualities as a school counselor and living and growing as an individual.

NCSCA is a state division of the American School Counselor Association.

North Carolina School Counselor Association (NCSCA) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6314.
Programs that do not qualify for credit are clearly identified. NCSCA is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
